If you’re tight on time right now, there’s a pumpkin patch in La Jolla you can take the kids to. It’s right in the village at 6710 La Jolla Boulevard. There’s a small costume store for those last minute costume needs, an “animal kingdom” with soft bunnies and chickens for petting, a haunted maze, a bounce house, games such as “pumpkin bowling”, and of course… pumpkins. There is no entrance fee. I spent $15 on 20 tickets, which allowed us to try out all the activities. The staff members were young and enthusiastic, which added to the fun. The pumpkin patch is probably geared more for families with young children, but my son at 12 years old still had a great time and ran into some of his classmates there. I highly recommend stopping by since it’s so convenient and budget-friendly!
